Plasma (Sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate - Gray Top) is recommended if removal from cells will be delayed.
Specimen Collection Instructions
Draw sample 1 hour after ingestion of jelly beans.
Serum and Plasma samples should be centrifuged and removed from cells as soon as possible but no longer then 4 hours from collection.
