Sodium Heparin only. Must arrive in lab within 24 hours of collection. Lavender-top tube acceptable if received within 30 hours of collection. Collect 1 green and 1 lavender tube
Transport
Routine courier pick-up Monday to Thursday; Stat pick-up on Friday.
Cutoff Time
Monday to Thursday, Friday until 12 pm.
Specimens drawn on Friday must arrive in the RGH Flow lab before 1:30 pm for processing.
